Louise started out as a fitness instructor back in 2004 and progressed to a fully qualified sports massage therapist in 2012.
She incorporates many techniques into her treatments including Myofacial work, which stretches deep into the facial network. Lou will feel for a glue like texture which when dense, thick or hard can be a facial restriction, she then applies a small amount of pressure waiting for the tissue to soften before applying a stretch which restores the fascia to its natural resting length. Lou also uses soft tissue release techniques, which is assisted stretching of the muscle fibres. She repeatedly and quickly stretches areas of the muscle whilst taking it through its full range of motion.
