I have been practising acupuncture for 14 years, having gained my Licentiate in Traditional Acupuncture in 2004 at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, which is accredited to the British Acupuncture Council. Continual professional development, specialist post-graduate courses and seminars further my skills and deepen my knowledge of Chinese Medicine. A long term practice of the internal martial arts also informs my practice, as well as maintaining my own health.
Whilst experienced in treating the full scope of illnesses, I have a special interest in anxiety and stress-related problems, women’s health and gynaecological conditions. As a member of the Acupuncture for Fertility Network, I have extensive postgraduate training and experience in treating fertility (both male and female), supporting IVF and other assisted conception techniques, and also pregnancy and postnatal support.
I am committed to helping people through their emotional and physical difficulties to restore a sense of balance in their lives, so that they can live life well.
I not only focus on diagnosing and treating the patient’s presenting problem, but also look closely at diet, lifestyle and emotional well-being to ensure my treatment and advice is aimed at restoring the body’s equilibrium.
